Monster Therapy

Licensed Therapy for the Monsters Within us all…

Ask Yourself This…

What kind of psychological monsters creep deep within your mind?

In the drama of life, monsters are not limited to the fiction books or silver screen — they sometimes exist in plain view or can lurk deep within the dark halls of your own psyche.

These type of psychological monsters can often be birthed from the natural horrors that continue to chase around the human race. Trauma, conflict, anxiety, depression and substance use can all be things that give shape and power to these kind of mental monsters that feed on your wellbeing and freedom.

Over time, if left untreated, these monsters can eventually take over your identity causing you to live in continuous anxiety, resentment and even reclusive to the wonderful wonders that can be afforded in life.

It’s a nice thought to think that people are capable of living a life “stress free” or “mindful , intentional, positive blah blah blah…” but the reality is that there is a dark side to existence that sometimes imposes itself in one’s life. A dark side that can develop deep within the psyche that needs to be explored and rationalized before it turns into a monster that can ultimately haunt the rest of your life .

At Monster Therapy it is my job to understand what fears are holding you back and help you confront what sometimes gets locked away behind the complex defense mechanisms our minds create to protect you from the monsters that lurk within.

If you are someone who can binge watch shows like “The Walking Dead,” or “American Horror Story” or even keep little keepsakes of your favorite “serial killers” like Jason Voorhees , Michael Myers or even Art the Clown then your someone who understands the importance between the relationship of horror and our mental health and the benefits that can come from the exposing yourself to your fears and the relief that comes in the wake of your courage.

My Services

I am a PSYCHOtherapist with over 10 years of experience who specializes in helping people confront their psychological fears (or “monsters”) and phobias. I can help you better understand were your fears originated from and how they continue to reinforce your symptoms through both the conscious and unconscious decisions that continue to shape your life. I help you find the courage to confront these fears negatively impacting your relationships and/ or mental health.

I am a therapist who wants to get to know your dark side and all the taboo thoughts that run through your head when you at your most anxious, most angriest, most depressed, or even most triggered due to trauma.

I provide a structured treatment process that can help you seek out your fears and reframe them into motivations and strengths that will move you from mental health treatment and into personal development.

Allow Your Fears to be the Guide to Your Wellbeing — not the monster!

Fear is a powerful source. Not only can it paralyze the nervous system but it can also grant us extraordinary strength when it is coupled with the right convictions. Allow therapy to be a new creative space to break the habits controlled by fear.

For many, people can be taught to avoid their fears or sometimes mask their fears through the symptoms of anger, anxiety or depression only to find that one universal truth that rules us all — which is, that we all live within the boundary of our own fears.

By learning the skills to identify your psychological fears, confront, frame and desensitize yourself to the monsters that roam within can help you reclaim the control needed to live a satisfied and authentic life.
